Notice of Cancellation of Listing
UCM Group PLC (the 'Company') hereby announces that, following the announcement
on 22 March 2007 by Imerys UK Limited ('Imerys UK') that its offer for the
Company has been declared unconditional in all respects, and on the basis that
Imerys UK has attained the required 75 per cent. of the voting rights attaching
to the ordinary shares in the Company, the Company has, at Imerys UK's request,
made applications for the cancellation of the listing of the Company's ordinary
shares on the Official List and the cancellation of trading in the Company's
ordinary shares on the London Stock Exchange's market for listed securities. It
is anticipated that these cancellations of listing and trading respectively will
take effect no earlier than 7.00 a.m. on 24 April 2007.
