Established as a producer of fused minerals in 1958, Electro Furnace Products is the leading supplier of electrical grade magnesia to Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
In 1996, an investment of over GBP 4.7m increased the plant capacity to 18,000 tonnes per annum making the operation the largest and most advanced plant in the world for the manufacture of electrical grade magnesia.
Electro Furnace Products produces a comprehensive range of powders for use in Domestic and Industrial heating elements, automotive components and refractory applications.
A progressive research and development policy has ensured that EFP is ready to meet future demands for high performance materials. New products are continually being introduced, with new developments being actively sought to broaden the range of applications.
A comprehensive technical service offers customers free and impartial advice on material selection and subsequent testing as well as specific development for specialised applications. EFP welcome opportunities to evaluate and resolve customer requirements on a mutual joint development basis.
