Although our name is seldom seen, our materials are used in everyday products around the world – facilitating the lives of millions of people. The next time that you take a shower, boil your kettle or drive your car there is a strong possibility that UCM materials will either be contained in it or will have contributed to its manufacture.
UCM grains and powders are used as raw materials in a wide range of industrial applications, either directly into the end application as in some of our automotive-related applications or as a material to facilitate the manufacture of the end product as in some of our refractory and advanced ceramic applications which facilitiate modern processes for the production of steel, glass, cement, textiles, wire, etc.
